When I first joined Budoshin Jujutsu a year and a half ago I was excited about the fitness benefits. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. It only took me a couple of classes (and me getting over my reluctance to punch, choke, lock or cause any type of pain) and I was hooked. The feeling of accomplishment you get after you successfully perform a new waza or escape a lock is awesome. The newfound confidence in myself and my abilities has transferred over into all aspects of my life and brought about many positive changes. Pushing myself to the limits of my physical abilities and then having Sensei push me past them is an amazing feeling that cannot be topped. Thank you Sensei!
